Spend a simulated month in the poverty experienced by our community’s individuals and families. This interactive event promotes awareness, increases understanding, and inspires local change. The simulation is based on real families in real situations. Young people and adults (ages 12+) are encouraged to participate. This is not a game. Here's a short video to give you an idea of how the simulation works.
Limited enrollment. Registration begins at 8:30 am.
COVID Update: Proof of vacination and masks are required.
Follow-up session: As a follow-up to the simulation, participants are encouraged to return to the Bishop Harrison Center on Saturday, 4/30/22 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm to find out about how to translate what they have learned into action in our local communities.
